What is Holy Fire Reiki?
Holy Fire Reiki is a new form of Reiki being introduced by the ICRT. It is both powerful and gentle and provides purification, healing, empowerment and guidance. It is included as part of our Usui Reiki classes and has also been added to Karuna Reiki® training. Holy Fire energy is noticeably more refined and comes from a higher level of consciousness. Some of the qualities students have experienced include:
- Works continuously even when not thinking about it and spontaneously heals issues as they come up.
- Always respects free will.
- Heals deeply and quickly without distress.
- Heals relationships and interactions with others.
- Releases worry and replaces it with a sense of safety in a most pronounced way.
- Spontaneously provides guidance that is palatable for every level of life experience.
- Tends to develop all the personality traits that are healthy for a person to have such as love of self and others, kindness, patience, confidence, vitality, enthusiasm, optimism, trust, joy, peace and so forth.

Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki I & II
Reiki I and II are taught together during in a group class or through individual mentoring appointments one on one with Mary Silvernail. Both Placements (attunements) are given. All the information and techniques for both levels are covered including:
• Giving a complete Reiki session for self and others.
• Japanese Reiki Techniques, as taught by Usui Sensei including: Gassho meditation, Reiji-ho - developing your intuition, Byosen Scanning - detecting where Reiki is needed, Gyoshi ho - sending Reiki with the eyes, Kenyoku - dry bathing or clearing one's energy field.
• Hayashi Healing Guide.
• Using Reiki for specific conditions.
• The Reiki II symbols, how to use them including practice time.
• Using Reiki to heal unwanted habits.
• Distant healing.
• 190-page class manual.

The class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Practice time, self -treatment, practice using all the level II symbols including distant healing, and practice using all the Japanese Reiki Techniques mentioned above.
It is expected that you will set aside additional time to practice after the class is over. Please commit to this additional time which should be one evening a week for several weeks, or its equivalent, to practice Reiki with members of your family or friends. This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to fully utilize the Reiki training.
Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Master
The Master training combines the complete Usui/Holy Fire® III Master training into one class which is usually taught during a 3-day weekend group class or through individual mentoring appointments one on one with Mary Silvernail. Call 609-242-3900 for dates and times.
To qualify to take this class, a student must have taken Reiki I&II and practiced Reiki II for at least six months. Also, a student must be able to draw the three symbols from Reiki II from memory.
In the process of learning the healing techniques, Experiences, Placements and Ignitions (Note that Placements and Ignitions provide the same benefit as attunements.) and taking part in the guided meditations (Experiences), each student will receive many healing experiences.
Reiki III/Master
• The Usui/Holy Fire® III Master Placement (attunement) which increases the strength of your Reiki energy and empowers the Usui Master symbol.
• Practice using the Usui master symbol for treatments.
• The Holy Fire® symbol is given for a total of five symbols for the entire system.

Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki®
The Meaning of Karuna
Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is also used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action." When individuals experience enlightenment, they report that all beings are known as one. Therefore, it is natural to extend compassionate action or Karuna to everyone without distinction because we are all one. As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit. Because of the oneness of all beings, it is understood that Karuna is not only extended to others out of love, but also because it is an entirely logical thing to do. In the same way that you would want to heal your own wounds, you would also want the wounds of others to heal. It is also stated in the Buddhist literature that Karuna must be accompanied by prajna or wisdom in order to have the right effect.
Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings (also called the Brothers and Sisters of the Light) who are working to end suffering on Earth. They continually send an unlimited amount of healing energy and guidance to us, but not all are receptive to it. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, but you also become more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by the supreme being. Thus, your healing is quickened as well. Karuna Reiki® opens you to work more closely with the supreme being.
The Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher Class
You must have been a Reiki Master for at least six months to take Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master training.
Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Training
This class is the next step after Reiki Master and is both a practitioner and a Master class. Those who take the class will be able to use the Karuna symbols in their Reiki sessions and teach all levels of Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki®. You will also be able to teach Reiki I&II and Reiki Master as Holy Fire® III classes. Karuna Reiki® is complete with eight practitioner symbols, one Master symbol, four Ignitions and two meditations that are guided directly by the Holy Fire® consciousness.
Holy Fire® III
In this Master class, you will learn to give Placements which are Ignition-like experiences for Reiki I&II and the first part of Reiki Master. (Placements and Ignitions are the same as attunements.) The Placement system provides a more effective level of Reiki for the student and also empowers the symbols with more effective healing energy. A certificate and a 142-page manual are included.
Both levels of Karuna Reiki® and four Ignitions will be given as well as instruction and practice on the use of all nine symbols. You will be able to teach both levels after taking this class.
We will also be doing chanting and toning with the Karuna Reiki® symbols.
Instruction on how to give Placements for Reiki I and II and Ignitions for Reiki Master and Karuna Master.
A certificate and a manual are included with in depth descriptions of each symbol and each Ignition process.
Practicing and Teaching Karuna Reiki®
The Karuna symbols can be used just like other Reiki symbols when giving Reiki sessions. When teaching, the whole method is taught in one 3-day weekend as described above. This is possible because the requirement to take the class is to have been a Reiki Master for a minimum of 6 months. This prior training requirement allows students to receive the ability to use each of the symbols in Reiki sessions and the ability to teach the complete system to others. Also, you’ll be shown how to give the Usui/Holy Fire® III Placements for Reiki I&II and Master. The Master class uses Ignitions which you will be empowered to give in your classes. This means that after taking this class, you and your students will be able to teach all levels of Reiki as Holy Fire® III classes.
All levels of Reiki classes offer a unique opportunity to be attuned and Certified as a Usui/Holy Fire Reiki® III Practitioner by Registered Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki® Master, Mary Silvernail, one of the leading healers in the holistic community. SESSION INFORMATION
for Reconnection Healing ®
Clothing:
Dress comfortably. You will be fully clothed, shoes off, resting face-up on a padded massage table. (Inform us if you have difficulty lying on your back and we will accommodate you as best as possible.)
Scents, Fragrances & Aromas:
Various scents, fragrances and aromas often appear during your sessions. Please arrive as free of externally added fragrances as possible.
Optimal State of Mind:
Simply close your eyes and let go. Become the observer and the observed. The witness. Notice. Notice when you notice something. Notice when you notice nothing. Notice when you notice something again. Allow yourself to experience the wonder of expectancy without the attachment of specific and detailed expectation. Trust that the healing that's most appropriate for you is the one that you will receive.
Time:
Reconnective Healing sessions typically last approximately 30 minutes. The healings occur outside of the constraints of time and space, so more time is not better. One to three sessions are normally suggested.
The Reconnection consists of two sessions, generally 45 minutes to one hour or so in length, and ideally on consecutive or alternate days.
Note:
It is recommended to have at least one Reconnective Healing session prior to experiencing The Reconnection.

NATIVE AMERICAN HEALING
The essence of all Native American healing is spirit, life force energy. The Native people see spirit and kinship in all that we cohabitate with here on Earth Mother. Whether it be the spirit in the flowing waters or within the plant that will give the cure for what physically ails us. Within today's modern society there is difficulty connecting to our own spirit within, much less to Earth Mother and the plant and animal kingdom. However, for our survival, mankind must get back in touch with his/her connection to Earth Mother and all that is given to us. We hear on the news the effects that are coming to pass due to our industrial way of life and we feel helpless in fixing it. What is needed is to just get back to living respectfully with not disrespectfully from the resources of our Earth Mother. We must remember that we are not just alive, we are part of all life itself. To find your way back to this connection, try this simple grounding technique of taking your shoes and socks off and walking barefoot in the grass. Feel Earth Mother under your feet – connect.
